Luna Negra is the longest-running student magazine at Kent State University. As an arts magazine, we strive to amplify your voices.

Currently, our submissions are closed for the semester. We will be reopening our submissions to all Kent State students, faculty, and staff members in Fall 2026. Winning submissions will be published on our website and promoted on social media.

We accept original, unpublished work of prose, poetry, creative nonfiction, fine art, photography, and illustration. We also welcome vibrant, dynamic works that may live outside these categories.
